AFFIN FUND MANAGEMENT BERHAD DECLARED A GROSS DISTRIBUTION OF 14.85% FOR ITS "DANA ISLAMIAH AFFIN"

Affin Fund Management Berhad declares distribution for Dana Islamiah Affin (DIA) for its financial year / period ended 30 June 2008. DIA investors enjoy a gross distribution of 6.05 sen per unit equivalent to a yield of 14.85% based on the Fund's ex-d NAV.

DIA outperformed its benchmark FTSE-Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah Index and average 3-Month Mudharabah rate quoted by Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad in the ratio of 60:40 (-3.99%) by 18.88% over the same period.

In April this year, Affin Fund Management Berhad declared a gross distribution of 8.00 sen per unit equivalent to a yield of 18.33% for its Affin Equity Fund (AEF) and a gross distribution of 2.00 sen per unit equivalent to a yield of 3.96% for its Affin Capital Fund (ACF) respectively.
